Kundalini Yoga Experience

Tuning Up and Turning In

Would you like to bust through the lingering blocks of Winter and prepare the mind, body, and spirit for Spring?

Join Kristen Lanigan for a Kundalini Yoga Experience! Through breathwork, movement, mantra (sound), relaxation and meditation we will tune up our bodies and go within to develop better insight for the coming season. This class will be offered for all levels and experiences of yoga.

What is Kundalini Yoga? From the Yoga Journal website: "Kundalini Yoga is an uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices that incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras, such as Sat Nam, meaning 'truth is my identity.' The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness. Kundalini Yoga has its roots in the Tantric Yoga tradition, which dates back to the eighth century. In 1969, Sikh leader Yogi Bhajan (born in 1929) brought the practice to North America." Click here for more information about Kundalini Yoga.

Kristen Lanigan (Tarandeep Kaur) is a KRI Level I certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation instructor.  After struggling with anxiety for many years, Kristen found her inner peace when she started Kundalini yoga in 2013.  The blend of meditation, breath-work, movement, music and relaxation is a culmination of everything that was once missing in her hectic life.  She now believes that a strong personal practice can help you through any block and relies on daily meditation to keep her grounded.  Today Kristen teaches from the heart and strives to hold the space for students to show up for themselves and be nurtured in their own exploration of Kundalini yoga.

Kristen completed Level 1 training at Kundalini Yoga Boston with lead trainers Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa and Nirbe Kaur Khalsa. She also has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS University.
