Mary is a newly certified 200-hour registered yoga teacher. She earned her certification at Pure Yoga in New York City. She teaches a vinyasa class that can be modified to fit any yogi. She began practicing consistently three years ago and quickly realized the positive impact it had on her life. She knows it makes her a better mother, wife, family member, friend, and person in general.
Deb Fraine has been practicing yoga for 20 years and is a registered member of Yoga Alliance having completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Donna Pagliarani at the Dharma Connection in Sandwich, MA. “As a yoga instructor my goal is to integrate my knowledge as an outpatient orthopedic occupational therapist into my yoga classes by helping to prevent injury with sequences that stretch and strengthen the core, neck, back, shoulders, quadriceps, hamstrings, hips, shoulders, wrists and hands.”
Marcia, a consummate teacher, is a Level 1 Certified Reiki Practitioner, a certified Zumba Instructor, and is certified in Chi Running and Chi Walking. She has been educating for over 36 years in everything from children's fitness to pilates to aqua aerobics. She is trained in yoga, anatomy as well as mind/body trainings. Her yoga classes are fun and educational journeys into the body and its intimate pathway towards health, wellness, and healing.
Heather is a 500 RYT from Maya Yoga with Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini. She has participated in Baron Baptiste’s Level 1 Bootcamp, studied with Patricia Walden, Doug Keller, Roger Cole, Anna Forrest, and Jack Kornfield. Dedicated to studying yoga for more than 30 years, "My classes are alignment-based and encourage students to look inward and find the yoga that best serves their lifestyle." She is certified in Yoga for Veterans and Yoga for Breast Cancer.
Lynda has been teaching kids yoga since 2011 when she completed a 200-hour Creative Kids Yoga Training. Lynda empowers children to discover their whole perfect self. by teaching them different tools, breathing techniques, and various forms of movement which they can then explore in their own mind and body. She is also certified by Karma Kids Yoga, Kidding Around Yoga, Deep Play for Kids, Childlight Yoga and Radiant Child Yoga (for kids who are differently abled).
Chelsea received her Childplay Yoga Chelsea received her certification in 2012 and recently completed her 200 hour teacher training at Down Under Yoga in Boston. As a pediatric occupational therapist, she is passionate about merging her love of both occupational therapy and yoga to create a class that is accessible to all children.
Joey received his 200-hour training certification from Kripalu four years ago where he studied with Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, and Shiva Rea. Joey's passion is allowing yoga to be accessible no matter the circumstance. He teaches Kripalu yoga, gentle, moderate, power and chair yoga. He is also certified as a personal trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine. He has been successfully training people for more than 10 years.
Joelene has been practicing yoga for 27 years and teaching yoga for 20 years. She has trained in Reiki ll, energy medicine traditions, and many different types of yoga such as Kundalini, Iyengar, Anusara, Restorative, and Yin, all of which add to her teaching and understanding of embodiment. Joelene believes that yoga truly is a healing practice of mind/body and a wonderful way to spend time with yourself.
Justin specializes in Tuina Massage, Asian Bodywork and alternative therapies. He uses energy work incorporating specific massage technique and acupressure. Justin has been a student and practitioner of Tuina, Taiji, Qigong, and Martial Arts since 2002. He studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Charles River Institute for Healing and Inner Arts. He believes the empowerment of health belongs to the everyone and strives to help his patients make the connection between their health and how their day-to-day decisions influence their well being.
Nicole stepped onto her first yoga mat in 2004. She is passionate about the mind/body connection and linking breath to movement. Nicole became a 200-hr registered yoga teacher through Open Doors Yoga to bring her knowledge and passion to others and help them find what they are seeking. Nicole’s power flow yoga class is designed for the student who seeks a faster-paced class while exploring the breath.
Jennifer has been cultivating her yoga practice for 19 years, and is still captivated by the inner peace and love she experiences. Her classes help students find grace and stillness, strength and agility, while igniting breath and movement as one. She believes yoga should be filled with freedom, grace, and laughter both on and off the mat. She teaches a powerful flow emphasizing strength and lightness allowing the mind to relax and the heart to shine!
Sandra is 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Lotus Palm Thai Yoga Certified Bodyworker who received multiple trainings through Kripalu School of Yoga. A licensed massage therapist, Sandra has taught at numerous yoga studios, hospitals, nature reservations, fitness centers and more for the past five years. Her classes offer modifications for all levels and have clear focus on alignment for a safe and strong practice.
Although she has always been active and had a love for yoga, it wasn’t until a car accident in 2015 that she dedicated much of her time to yoga. She found that the healing benefits of a regular practice, coupled with meditation, helped her to heal both physically and emotionally, once again finding the mind-body connection that was lost. She obtained her 200 hr. RYTT certification from Raffa Yoga in Cranston, RI.
Jessica Webb, the owner of Anchor Yoga, is an MBSR teacher, Yoga Nidra guide, Laughter Yoga leader, and is certified to instruct mindfulness meditation and yoga at the RYT 500 level. She has been teaching mindfulness and yoga for seven years and pours her energy into retreats, workshops, group classes on mindfulness, meditation, stress reduction, and yoga for those wishing to lead a richer and fuller life.
Lindsay received her 500 hour training certification through Sanctuary Studios in Plymouth, MA with specializations including Acro Yoga, Children's Yoga, Reiki II, Thai Bodywork, and Therapeutic Yoga. She is passionate about the health and healing benefits of movement and meditation, and teaches yoga as a practice to cultivate joy and ease on and off the mat. Her classes flow with the goals of health, longevity, relaxation, and devotion to self-care.
