Inviting you to an introduction of the balancing lifestyle of Ayurveda and the healing touch of Thai Yoga. Ayurveda ('the science of life') is a system of medicine that holds the intention of bringing equilibrium and balance to an individual's unique constitution. Ayurveda uncovers diet and lifestyle practices that allow one to harmonize with oneself and with the environment around them. We will then incorporate these principles into gentle Thai yoga bodywork. You will learn the basic tools of ThaiYoga to share this compassionate technique with loved ones. We will focus on marma (pressure points) and sen (energy lines) in some of the main areas of tension in the body including: face, head, neck, shoulders, abdomen, and feet. Bring a friend, a partner, a family member or be open to learning with someone new! All are welcome to this very special class. Sophia Avra and Sandra Sadhana are your guides.
Sandra received her 200-RYT and Lotus Palm Thai Yoga training through Kripalu School of Yoga. Her free spirit shines through her liberating yoga classes and workshops. She is a lover of dance, authentic laughter, compassion and honey.
Sophia is a practicing Ayurvedic Health Counselor, trained and certified at Kripalu School of Ayurveda. She is a lover of nature's healing gifts - herbal remedies, whole foods, and fresh air. She is passionate about finding her bliss and empowering others to find their own.
