New Year's Eve Yoga & Gong Bath

thank you all!

This is the night you set your intentions for the year. Not your resolutions, but your intentions -- how you wish to live and interact with the world in 2016. A slow, steady, reconnecting yoga class will start you off on the right track for calling forth your deepest intention (sankalpa). Then, we will slide into the world of relinquishing, allowing the magic of a gong bath to seal your intentions into your cells.

What is a gong bath? The gong is one of the world’s oldest and most healing instruments. During a gong bath meditation, the gong vibrates at the same frequency as the body, allowing students to experience deep healing on all levels of being as vibrations pass over and through the body.

We have blankets, mats, and cushions for you to lie on, but you might want to bring your own from home so that you are as comfortable as possible. Gong Baths are usually experienced lying down.

Please note that gong baths are not suitable for those with advanced stages of cancer, recent surgery (less than 6 months), and for those with pacemakers.

Gong player A. Michelle of Drumsinger is gifted with a rich voice and a multi-octave range. She channels sacred sound in harmony with a variety of indigenous instruments. Focused in love the sound channeled through A. Michelle is transformational and can assist with one's healing vibrations. She has been in the music business for over 20 years and is one of the founders of Big Noise, and international music production and artist development firm. Find her at her Facebook page
