Yoga 101 with Nicole Resendes is back! Perfect if you want to begin a yoga practice, this four-week series will give you all the tools you need to feel confident walking into a yoga class.
Learn the fundamentals of a modern yoga practice in a safe and supportive environment. You'll be introduced to the core yoga traditions and philosophies, the foundations of breathwork and meditation, as well as the basic poses (asanas) of yoga.
Weekly handouts, practices for you do at home in between sessions, and plenty of one-on-one with the instructor.
Nicole will demonstrate poses and assist you while providing the principles of proper alignment. Gain a greater understanding of physical restrictions due to compression vs. tension plus feel what it's like to link breath with movement. Ultimately, this balanced state of awareness will allow you to safely create space in each pose to move beyond the limitations of the mind.
