Experience first-hand how a chair can change your current yoga practice, or how a chair can help you start a yoga practice. This is a five-week special series where you will be taught specific chair yoga sequences and postures including downward-facing dog, the sun salutations, and so much more. 

Chair yoga is tremendously beneficial for many types of physical conditions:

Joey Machado received his 200-hour training certification from Kripalu five years ago where he studied with Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, and Shiva Rea. Joey's passion is allowing yoga to be accessible no matter the circumstance. He teaches Kripalu yoga, gentle, moderate, power and chair yoga. He is also certified as a personal trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine.  He has been successfully training people for more than 11 years.
