Restorative Yoga is a meditative yoga practice of deep yet aware relaxation. It is the yoga of "being" rather than the yoga of "doing". As your body releases into soothing, supported poses, your muscles utterly relax and melt into the shape of the posture, rather than pushing and forcing them. Restorative yoga releases deeply held tensions, soothes the nervous system, strengthens the immune system, and feeds your spirit.
This class will incorporate intention, mindful meditation, and sound healing with crystal bowls, and tibetan singing bowls.
Joelene Marinone will lead this class complete with supportive props, blankets, and cushions.
Class size is limited to 18. Registration in advance is strongly suggested.
All levels welcome, no prior experience necessary.
