As summer winds down and the light continues to change, join Lindsay and Sandra to celebrate the arrival of autumn.

For a few hours we will set aside time for peace and contemplation, adding new focus to our nourishing self-care routines as we mark the transition towards the cozier months.

From the website: On an equinox, the sun spends approximately the same amount of time above and below the horizon; rising due east, setting due west and appearing directly overhead at midday. As Earth progresses along its orbit, its axis begins to lean away from the sun, bringing the southern hemisphere closer to, and moving the northern hemisphere farther away, from our radiant star. As a result, the sun’s rays hit the northern hemisphere at an indirect angle and less solar energy reaches this part of the world.This waning sunlight initiates a distinct and perceptible shift in our terrestrial environment as sweetness of summer begins to fade and the top half of our planet retreats from the heat of the sun.

The Fall Equinox is a direct invitation to turn toward the light within.

Join Sandra Sadhana and Lindsay Williams for a special purpose-driven day with yourself, to turn inward toward your own light as the outer sunlight begins to wane. See this afternoon with yourself as a day for choosing intention, choosing wisdom, choosing self-care, choosing "Ananda" (Bliss) as a way to set the tone for the cooler days and deeper emotions of fall and winter.

During the workshop, we will:

  • practice guided gentle yoga;

  • explore different forms of mindfulness and meditation;

  • learn self-massage techniques sure to warm any cold toes;

  • indulge in healing herbal teas and healthy treats (provided);

  • express and reflect through writing and journaling.

Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring your yoga mat, a light meal that does not need to be refrigerated or heated, and a journal.

Space is limited to 15 to allow for a deeper experience for everyone.
